Payment method requirements, KYC levels, card restrictions, and method availability
Payment method availability depends on your KYC level and the type of payment instrument used.

KYC Level 2 requires Level 1 to be approved first. Level 2 review takes up to 5 business days and requires company documentation.
Card Payments
Card acceptance has specific requirements:
- Local cards only. Africa-issued debit and credit cards are accepted. International cards are coming soon.
- KYC Level 2 required. Card payments are not available at Level 1. Complete the KYC upgrade process to enable card processing.
- Proof of bank account ownership. You must verify ownership of the settlement bank account during Level 2 onboarding.
- Non-virtual, non-prepaid cards only. Virtual and prepaid cards are not accepted.
International card support is not yet available. Only Africa-issued cards can be processed at this time. We will announce international card availability as partnerships are confirmed.
Mobile Money
- Available at all KYC levels
- Supports MTN MoMo and Airtel Money (Uganda)
- Primary payment method for most merchants
- No additional verification beyond standard KYC
Bank Transfers
- Available at all KYC levels
- Settlement bank account required for payouts
- Bank account ownership must be verified for Level 2 (card processing)
