Teams
Invite teammates, assign roles, and control which accounts they can see
Teams
Nylon Pay organizations can have multiple people with different roles. Each role controls what someone can see and do in the dashboard.
Roles and access

What each role sees in the dashboard
- Transactions, analytics, payment links, invoices, transfers — scoped to assigned accounts (Finance and Developer) or all accounts (Owner and Admin)
- API Settings — Owner, Admin, and Developer only
- Settings → Teams — Owner and Admin only
- Accounts (create/edit) — Owner and Admin only
- Services and organization settings — Owner and Admin only
Inviting a teammate
- Go to Settings → Teams
- Click Invite Member
- Enter name, email, username, and a temporary password
- Choose a role: Admin, Finance, or Developer
- For Finance or Developer, select one or more accounts they can access
- Admin invites skip account selection — they get full organization access
- The invitee receives an email with a link to accept
Invites expire after 72 hours.
Accepting an invite
- New users — an account is created when they accept
- Existing users — they are added to your organization and can switch to it from the org switcher
- After accepting, they only see data for the accounts and areas their role allows
Managing members
Owners and Admins can:
- View pending and declined invites
- Cancel pending invites
- Remove or deactivate members
- Update a member's role and account access (Change Role & Access)
You cannot remove the organization owner. Admins cannot change access for other admins or the owner.
FAQ
Can I invite another owner?
No. Ownership is separate from team invites.
A Finance user sees an empty dashboard
Check that they were assigned at least one account when invited, or update their access under Change Role & Access.
Do existing team members lose access?
Role rules apply immediately (for example, Finance no longer sees API keys). Members invited before account scoping who have no explicit account assignments keep access to all organization accounts until you restrict them.
